MY TREASURE
PRODUCTION LINE
I managed 2 pages yesterday and had a go at making the 8x8 page larger.
We found another stash of photos on some old floppy discs so spent quite a lot of time transferring those to a memory stick. A very emotionl time.
It looks like I could be at this book for ages yet, infact, due to the number of photos, I could be making several books!!

MORE PAGES
I'm having a go at this scrapbook page production. So far I have 3 completed with the original 8x8 in thought and production. I have so many thoughts and so many photos but bringing them together is really hard, especially as most of our photos are similar in colour and action - or lack of in Toby's case! - The gorgeous pages I've pulled down from the web are mainly for girls or are quite flowery, but as you know, Toby was nothing like a girl. He defended his lifestyle with vigour then came on our knee for cuddles and comfort - dare I say - just like any conqueror. Admiration was always given for both good and bad reasons.
I absolutely adore paper crafting, especially card making, but I really don't have thought initiative and get my ideas from what I see in magazines, tv, craft shops, web sites, etc.. for those whose ideas give me what I lack, thank you so much, but can you give me a bit more please????

SCRAPBOOK PAGE NO. 1
A bit of a cheat because I made this 8x8 page at the beginning of last year.
I really want to make 12x12 pages so I'm going to have a go at enlarging this one and encorporating some journaling aswell. I suppose I have to start somewhere so this is it!
However, today I had a sneak at the Tim Holtz blog and he has included a link to the bad girls web. WOW!, if you are interested in scrapbooking - or even any card craft - have a look at this web. It's just the help I was looking for in order to make this book of Toby.

CRAFTING AGAIN
In a bid to get crafting again, I made 3 tags from the 2008 Tim Holtz 12 tags of Christmas.
I enjoyed every minute, learnt new techniques and spent about £200 on materials I previously didn't have!!!!!!
A neighbour was thrilled with her Xmas card from us and my husband told her that it was good because it cost about £5,000 to make!!! Now all the crafters amongst us know that just isn't true - don't we?? This hobby is so adictive, I certainly don't know where to stop but I have great fun so what does it matter.
The tags are going to form my 2009 Xmas cards and the techniques are exciting to do. I just need to adapt them to my own designs and that's where I have problems so starting in January should give me enough time - she says!
I hope to pop a few pics on my Flickr this week so if you are interested keep having a look.

HOME AGAIN
I'm not going to dwell on this but just as soon as we got home yesterday from our Christmas and New Year away in the North East, we went to collect Toby and bring him home.
This trip was the first we have had without him and it was awful.
Neither of us could contain the tears again yesterday, but today is much better knowing where Toby is - at home where he belongs. Everything seems right now.
