FLOWER GIRL

I have spent most of today and a couple of hours yesterday, making these 6 ATCs. Why do I keep challenging myself like this? It's the cutting and colouring that takes most of the time. I will just have to either revert back to making cards one at a time, or making them more simple. I know that thought won't last long!!

Anyway, I kind of had fun. I certainly did not have fun trying to get the backs off the 3D foam. The batch I have is from Stix2 and I hate them. I've thrown most away because the backs will not come off cleanly. They simply pull all the sticky bit with them. I coloured the image with watercolour pens because I had stamped them using Archival ink and that bleeds when you use Copics. At least I used scraps of patterned paper instead of starting on a new piece which is one of my naughtiest faults and hence the reason my scrap drawer never closes!!

The other picture is of one of 6 ATCs I made a few days ago. It's a rotten photo I know, but no matter how I try, I can't get a good one. Must be the stickles and acetate shining back at the camera. I called this one, Fairy Dreams. The background was made with the extra ink on my craft sheet following the making of one of the 12 tags of Xmas, and the fairy was left over from Heather's ornament challenge. That bloomin' parrot ATC of Heathers gave me the idea of using some net and sticking it down with stickles. Sorry Heather, I adore it really, x.

Love the flower girl cards. Its amazing how just changing the colours makes them all look so different!
