Hey there challenge peeps, this is our last challenge before Xmas - but don't worry - there is one more before the end of the year.
Our amazing DT have made another set of inspiring samples for you on the theme of - ANY XMAS COLOURS - plenty for you to 'play' with this time, have a look HERE. So, ATCs/Cards with Attitude invite you to have a little bit of 'me' time over the next 2 weeks and join in our challenge. Our sponsors are:
Fresh Brewed Designs - offering 3 digis to the winner:
Limited Runs - offering 3 digis to the winner:
I chose the image - Catching a Snowflake from Limited runs and made my ATC plus an acetate wallet for it:
The image is delightful. I re-sized it to ATC dimensions, coloured it using Distress Markers and Distress Stickles - rock candy. I then made an ATC wallet from re-cycled packaging which I ran through my Big Shot using a snowflake embossing folder. I punched some snowflakes from mirri card to add a bit of interest and 'Bob's your Uncle' so to speak:
Please have a break from the madness that is surrounding your Xmas (it will all be worth it on the day though!) and try to find some time to relax and join us this fortnight.
May I take this moment to wish all our participants, a very, very Happy Christmas.

ATCs WITH ATTITUDE #28 - WINTER WONDERLAND
We have a very apt theme for this fortnight's challenge over at ATCs with Attitude - Winter Wonderland. After all, we are fast approaching the icy winds and snow time.
Congratulations to the winners and top 3 from our last challenge. Enjoy your success.
Our wonderful sponsors this time are:
Robyn's Fetish
Who is offering 5 digis to the winner
and
Beccy's Place
Who is offering 3 digis to the winner.
My ATC is made using Rag Doll with Love from Beccy's Place.
I printed her to ATC size, ie 2.5" x 3.5", coloured her and cut her out. I cut a separate pair of legs leaving a bit of card at the top so I could attach them using brads so that they could move. I used some cotton thread to attach her bag. The reason I made my card like this was to show you that ATCs don't have to be oblong bits of card. So long as you stick to the required size, they can look like anything really.
However, our theme is Winter Wonderland so I have put her onto one of the ATC sized papers in Tim Holtz' Holidays Past stash.
Please have a go at making an ATC for our challenge but if I still can't persuade you to do so, then you can enter your card at our sister challenge blog, Fat Pages with Attitude.

ATCs WITH ATTITUDE # 27 - Autumn/Winter
Another 2 weeks have flown by which means it's time for you to make your ATCs and cards for our
challenge over at ATCs with Attitude.
Now then, January will be a very special month for our little challenge blog. As the name suggests, we are primarily an ATC challenge blog but because we also state that participants can enter cards into our sister blog, Fat Pages with Attitude, most seem to end up on our blog. In order to advocate the different ways an ATC can be presented, we are making January ATC month. Hopefully we will have a VERY SPECIAL guest designer for you who I know for a fact produces ATCs and art in a form that will blow your mind away. You may also want to call back just to find out a little about - me!!
Our theme this month is a really nice one, so have a go at an ATC and enter our challenge.

Delicious Doodles are our sponsors this time and are offering 4 digis to the winner.
I chose one of their images for my ATC - Kingfisher in the Rushes - and decided to re-size it to conform to ATC measurements of 2.5"x3.5" so that I could cut it out.
The photo really doesn't do justice to the colouring on this card. I used my Distress Markers for it all including the very subtle milled lavender wash. ATCs WITH ATTITUDE - USE A SENTIMENT or TAGS or ANYTHING GOES
This fortnights challenge can be found HERE and boy oh boy is it worth taking a visit this time round.
Our challenge blog has been completely re-vamped and we have lots of news for you plus the chance to be a Guest Designer.
The original DT have now been placed into separate teams for ATCs and Cards, so if you want to have fun making ATCs you will enter your cards into ATCs with Attitude and if you prefer to make cards, then you can enter your art into our sister blog, Fat Pages with Attitude. All this will begin to take place properly from our next challenge. Come and join us, we're waiting for you.
I had the opportunity to showcase an Anything Goes ATC this time:
One of my usual 'splotchy' backgrounds and a metal flower. I glued the metal sheet onto some card and ran it through my Vagabond firstly in an embossing folder and then I die cut the tattered flowers. The lovely colours were created with alcohol inks and embossing powder. I stamped the sentiment onto card, embossed it and cut it out very roughly. A bit of wire and some beads gave the finishing touch.
Now then, as usual we have some super prizes courtesy of our sponsors but you have to enter to be in with a chance of winning. I'm waiting for your lovely ATCs.
May I also ask you to be a little patient with me whilst I try and make changes to my own blog. I thought that with all this excitement with my DT blog, it would be a good time to move on a bit myself.

ATCs WITH ATTITUDE CHALLENGE #4 - ANYTHING GOES
It's time for another fortnightly challenge over at ATCs With Attitude.
Anything Goes is the theme so you can join in by making an ATC of your choice, post it on your blog and then pop over to the challenge site and upload your entry. There is a prize up for grabs so come on and have a go.
Here is my DT piece for this challenge:
I printed off the image onto light weight white card and coloured her with my new Whispers pens. I then traced her skirt onto 'dotty' white vellum using a Gelly Roll, clear star Sakura pen. Once I had cut this out, I curled each part and added a further layer of the middle part of her skirt. The base card is mount board, clear embossed with a lovely delicate swirl stamp, coloured over with worn lipstick distress stain. the edges are distressed with dusty concord DI. I used the Sakura pen to sparkle her wings and cut around her fingers so she could hold her gem crystal ball. A couple of tiny skeleton leaves to enhance her wings, and a few sparkly gems finish off the card.

ATCs WITH ATTITUDE CHELLENGE #2 - ANYTHING GOES
Today sees the start of our new challenge over at ATCs WITH ATTITUDE.
This is our second challenge and the theme is ANYTHING GOES. There is a prize up for grabs though from the lovely Floppy Latte. The winner will receive a voucher from her shop.
'I used a brush to paint Studio acrylic paint - classic teal - on to black card stock. The rough painting leaves streaks which is the required result. The birds have been stamped using black Archival ink. The flower was made from a medium size 5-petal stamp and Tim Holtz paper stash, lost and found, cut out several times to form the flower. The leaves were punched from the same papers with a Martha Stewart punch. I then glued a couple of metal corners to the card and stamped the following words:
'imagine a journey of creative stuff, ideas and things to discover'
on some scrap card coloured with distress ink. The whole card was then spritzed with heirloom gold perfect pearls.
and this is how it turned out:
You don't even have to make your own flower. Use an already made one, or simply stick a picture on.
Click HERE to pop over to our blog and see what our talented (or in my case, a complete amateur) have made this fortnight. Go on, you know you want to.

I thought I would make a very simple ATC in order to encourage you all to take part showing you just how easy making these little works of art can be.

SO HAPPY TO ANNOUNCE...........
the start of the new ATC Challenge blog - ATCs WITH ATTITUDE.
Why am I so happy? because they have chosen me to join their Design Team along with several other like-minded ATC enthusiasts. To say I am thrilled is an understatement because I have never claimed to be anything other than a complete amateur crafter. Must admit though, I am getting a bit better at some techniques!!
Today's launch has been a bit rushed for the girls, Abbie, Caro and Leah, so we didn't receive our images with which to create our first card until a couple of days ago. However, pop over to the blog for a peep at the ones the team have produced because they are fabulous. I completed mine at 1.45am yesterday!!
Stickles, distress inks and liquid applique gave mine sparkle and depth. Such fun images to work with.
So come along and join in for the chance to win some images from this fortnights sponsor MELJENS DESIGNS. Make an atc with the theme

and add your link to Mr Linky over on the ATCs WITH ATTITUDE blog.
