HAPPY 4TH BIRTHDAY - ITS WOYWW #208

MANY CONGRATULATIONS to you Julia on this special day. 4 years of running this phenomenon is a massive achievement giving us nosey crafters much fun every Wednesday. So THANK YOU also.
My little space has shown everything I have going on and nothing, which has been the case for a few weeks now. However, this is the state of it this morning:

The eagle-eyed may just spy a WIP but it's concealed by a mass of stuff from out of one of the kitchen base units:

This little (!) lot came out of a 2nd unit. I've moved it to the floor besides me so I could use my computer.
Why the mess. Not my fault at all, it's the washers fault - it broke a week last Monday. You may recall that it is housed in my little room - but no more........ The new one arrived yesterday after much 'discussion' with the store and having measured it there and being assured by the salesman (he told porky pies) that is was the same size as the old one, the delivery men - it took 3 of them!!! - couldn't get it through my work room door way.

So it sat by the front door while hubby and I demolished the kitchen in order to house it there.
At least at some point today I will retrieve the space in my room and be able to wash the bag of manky clothes that have accumulated since it started to rain on Monday.
I can only get one of the base units under my desk, the 15 drawer card/paper cabinet has to go back so I am hoping that all that stuff both on my space and the floor fits into the gap. Pop back next week to see how I get on. In the meantime, have a wonderful birthday WOYWW and week.

Oh goodness...all that just because of a broken washing machine...sigh. I suppose the positive is you've now got all that space back in the craft room but still, you shouldn't have had to have to do all that demolishing....
I have had a ball being part of WOYWW for the past couple of years..thank you for all the positive comments you've sent my way!
Happy 4th WOYWW!
Hugs, LLJ 9 xx

Oh my goodness... the only positive thing is that you must now have the space that the washer took up in your craft room! (ignoring the fact that you probably lost kitchen space)!! Happy 4th WOYWW Anniversary! Annette #2

It’s amazing that the internet can bring together so many likeminded people and I’m grateful that WOYWW has also brought along so many new friends, thanks to Julia.

Why is it that nothing ever goes to plan…………or did it…………at least you have the whole of your craft room back again!

Enjoy your Wednesday snooping on this very special Day
Happy Crafting!

Doncha just love how one seemingly small change can cause so much upheaval? At least you'll get the space back and probably find a few lost treasures while reorganizing. :-)

Happy Woyww,

Must learn to read first and study pics later...just about had heart failure when I saw the tinsel, thought you'd gone super extra organised! Good luck with the washing machine..we had the idea of putting ours upstairs and it took three of us..I swear the concrete in the base is all it's made of!!

For 4 years now i've been dropping by,
To view some desks and see what I can spy,

I would have sent the washer back, but I don't have a super sweet and understanding hubby like you have. All I have is a cat!

I hope this means you'll have a new and improved craft space, as well as clean clothes, by next Wednesday!

Happy WOYWW4 from # 17.

No one likes to have to do the washing etc, but when you can't do it because the darn machine breaks down it is so annoying! I hope by now you have your space back. That is a lovely Sizzix die in the picture, haven't seen that one before!

That is terrible! I sure hope it all gets sorted this weekend.
Could you reconfigure your room in any way to accommodate the extra unit...even if you had to stack the two on top of each other sort of pantry cupboard style?
We stacked two once and it was quite handy.
Good luck figuring it all out and hope that next week is better!
