WELL, I WONDER WOYWW TODAY

I'm really bad because each Wednesday I start off on my happy trek around the world of craft desks, leaving little messages where Blogger allows, but then I usually find one that intrigues me so much that I stay too long, this in turn prevents me from continuing. Wow is me!! Not really because I have such a good time all thanks for our wonderful leader Julia who thought up this wondering in the first place. I intend to be intrigued again today.
Not a lot on mine for you this week though.
I took the plunge a few days ago, and started a journal - stands back in amazement, me, started a journal, crumbs - but 'tis true. My first page was awful, but I had the most lovely comments and no-one picked up on my spelling mistake - which incidentally was intentional except I meant to add 2 e's to the word scary not just one. I had another go and made a better 2nd page and following a trip to MacDonald's yesterday and seeing the fabulous new decor, I came back and started a 3rd.
No idea whatsoever how this will turn out or even when it will be finished, but I'm having some fun in the process.
Ok then, I'm off on my travels to yours. See you later.

Love the look of that page - and only moments after I'd decided that I didn't REALLY need any Distress stains....:D

Oh, well, now, see, I'm going to have to add Distress Stains to my ever-growing list of "wants/needs" - I love that splatter effect - can't wait to see what else you do to the page! Heather x

I'm exactly the same with looking at other blogs and then going off on a ramble cos I see somthing that catches my eye. Takes me ages each Wedensday and then I find I've only done 10 desks!! Love your colourful page for your journal. Hugs Mrs A & Monkey #88.

I sweated and fumed and worried about this artistic journal business till I just about scared myself away from doing one. One day I just jumped in and figured I would do what I wanted to do with it and if anyone saw it and said anything then I would unload about it being mine and private. Now I just have fun with it but it is still mine and still private as acknowledged by everyone in the house. Have fun with yours. If you like it why care about anyone else. Thanks for sharing. Vickie

One of the advantages of being a late WOYWW visitor is that I get to see more recent posts too - so like what you did with your splat page and, yes, that is a perfectly packaged order. I'm still at the 'shall I, shan't I' stage of deciding whether to start a journal, might do what Vickie does and keep it private should I ever keep one. Wishing you a lovely weekend. Elizabeth x #99

The splat page looks good to me, (she who has no inks at all!) It's all a bit scarrry for me, so good on you for having a go! Happy Crafting
