A WOYWW WITH CLASS!!

Another week has flown by and here we are again on another Wednesday. But Wednesdays are no longer just days, Wednesdays are special days when we get to fly around the world to amazing places, generally known as 'craft spaces'. The leader in this magical trip is Julia, so pop over to hers first for all the details. I was asked the other day whether I keep the off-cuts of grungeboard and paper. I don't have the heart to throw anything of Tim's away, so the answer to that is YES. Here is my box of 'bits'.
I use them for building up grunge flowers and have also made 'rocks' with them. Sometimes the bits are big enough to cut tiny flowers from too.
The pages for the chunky book are finished and I am now on with my page. My theme for the book is the months of the year and I was given February. Now what could I do for that?????!!!!! I'm having a play with a couple of ideas just now, so this is my desk this morning.

I shall probably get chance to play a bit more today hopefully.
Well my car still isn't fixed, infact, it hasn't even been looked at! 'Peg leg' is in town at the moment having taken his car for it's MOT then tomorrow he has to take the motorhome to have the new awning rail fitted. It's all go with vehicles at the moment. He is supposed to be going to hospital on Monday for his pre-op tests for his hernia operation, but as the tests only last 30 days, he will have to have them again because they already know that he can't have his op before the beginning of March. They've got this one wrong as well!!
Ok peeps, I'm off to get dressed now. Enjoy your day and travels.

your pile of grungepaper scraps is as large as mine - I even used some the other day, lol. Hope you get all your vehicles sorted!

I save scraps of paper and ribbon even, but not the extra leftover punch-outs from chipboard. But then again, I don't use that much in the first place. Happy WOYWW!

Interesting! I never thought to keep the little leftover bits! Thanks for sharing!

A really good way to use the leftovers. I too have done just that. Also they would make a nice collage which you could paint over.

I don't know a single crafter that can bear throeing anything away. My box(es) of scraps live under my craft table and holds many treaures.

True crafters never ever throw anything away Joanne, so your box of grunge paper speaks for itself.

Your desk is looking very intriguing!

Very interesting looking project, I have to admit, I've never bought or used grungeboard before! If PL has to have the tests again it begs the question why have them done at all? Seems silly going along twice! Hope the car is on the road again soon

Don't mention cars to me at the moment. Just had our Polo serviced - we could have bought a new motor for the price we were charged. Needless to say, it is on its way out fast. We are replacing it with a Freelander, at least we know the possible faults on that and the costs of putting them right, and we shall be able to get up and down our road in the winter.

I have a box of felt scraps just like that. Sure to come in useful at some point and then I will be glad I did.

I like to save an repurpose but the other day I had to clear out my scrap basket and ended putting anything smaller that 3 x 6" in the recycle bin. Broke my heart but there was so much of it!!!

Hmm never used grungeboard - is it just think card? I keep hearing about it but not seen any ~ Nicky 24

Since I'm reading backwards, I know how well that page turns out lol. It's gorgeous and a tresure it keeps (yes, I'm a medium for yoda sometimes before I've had my full complement of caffeine). TFS!
